The color contamination seeps into cleaning solvent and is drained from fluid passage. Flow Rate of cleaning solvent at center of fluid hose is faster than the one near inside fluid passage. Then It takes color contamination a while to seep into cleaning solvent. Cleaning solvent mixed air flow rapidly through fluid passage with particle of cleaning solvent striking hard against inside fluid passage. This results in clean and dry fluid passage using less cleaning solvents and time.

Color Change System

Color change can be done smoothly with no mixing of the previous colors

For color change during production of home appliances, motorcycle parts, automobile parts, steel furniture or general painting we recommend our custom-designed “Ransburg Color Change System”.

The Ransburg color change system can be used with most automatic painting devices such as the gun, bell, disc etc., and it can also be used for remote operation from outside the paint booth.

Color change can be done in a very short time, securely and easily without mixing of the previous color with the present color.
In addition, because wasted paint and flushing solvent discharge inside the booth can be held down to a minimum, dirtying of the booth when changing colors is reduced substantially.
Valves have been designed and manufactured to be very durable in order to withstand long hours of use when, for example, changing colors between the painting of one or several motorcycles.

Ransburg Paint Pump Unit provides a highly stable paint supply indispensable for achieving uniform paint finish, even after painting conditions such as paint type and viscosity are changed. Incorporating a precision fixed delivery gear pump “RIF-PUMP” that has improved the capacity efficiency substantially, the unit provides a delivery rate which is proportional to the revolution speed of the pump gear and also ensures flexible yet simple remote operation under manual or automatic control.

The pump drive section is of the explosion-proof construction, enabling it to be safely installed in a booth. This feature offers the advantage of permitting easy access to the coating machine and quick cleaning.

Flushable Gear Pump

The flushable pump is the paint supply device that supplies paint to coating applicator stably and composed of the gear pump(s), micro valve and also manifold.

By the gear(s) equipped, the fixed delivery rate is always stabilized from P. IN→OUT.
(Refer the flushable pump function diagram here described) and by bypass with the axis washing function, quick color change and washing is possible.

This equipment can keep the delivery rate in every condition consistently and that set up it once. Therefore, it is quite suitable to use with the following cases.

In the case that the paint is supplied to the coating applicator equipped with the long stroke reciprocator. The film thickness can be uniformed in the vertical direction of the coating object.
Keep the delivery rate stability in the temperature change.
For the paint which is easy to be clogged.
Keep the delivery rate stability for a long run use.

Beside, there are the following features with this unit.

RIC-800

This equipment is the High Voltage Controller for a pack-in (solvent) and semi pack-in (water system) Cascade type electrostatic coating machine, including a high-speed, high-function 32 bit CPU.

It consists of a flexible Low Voltage Cable, which connects between Cascades and Controller. For the signal exchange with the outside (PLC, Robot, etc), I/O connection, CC-Link Connection, or DeviceNet Connection is made possible by selecting option unit.

High Voltage output can be set in 4 levels, and each applied voltage can be used within -5～100kV (rated at 100kV). The safety circuit has the functions of detecting excess current error of absolute sensitivity (CL) and slope sensitivity (SL), breakage of low voltage cable (WT), excess current error (OC), undercurrent (UC), overvoltage (OV), and constant voltage error (CVE) of Cascade, and detecting leak current error (LK1～3) and over heat error (OH).

When error is detected, high voltage is instantly blocked and at the same time, an alarm (contact output) is generated to the outside until reset is pressed. These safety circuits enable highly safe painting operation by managing appropriate sensitivity settings in accordance with a coating line.

A compact air bearing motor with excellent durability and high-speed rotation performance
The newly developed compact air bearing motor that produces a stable rotation with 60,000 rpm at the maximum speed is highly durable.
Downsizing and weight reduction of bell body
The valves mounted on the bell body are the same as the previous model (Mark3). By making the diameter of the bell body 25mm smaller 1kg weight reduction was achieved. This reduces the load to the reciprocator and contributes to the improvement of the durability.
The shaping air mechanism affecting finishing quality
The internal structure of the previous model was revised for better dispersibility of the shaping air to obtain uniform spray pattern. With the variable pattern type 40mm bell cap the spray pattern size is controlled by the dual shaping air mechanism depending on the various sized workpieces. This reduces overspray and leads to reduction of paint usage.
Cascade excels in safety
Adopting a built-in cascade that does not require the routing of high voltage cable allows easier routing of low voltage cable, and improves safety by suppressing residual electrical charges.
