UV and two-component coating, which are not heat dried, are becoming increasingly essential as environment-friendly coatings that emit less CO2 during the drying process. On the other hand, UV paints that cure in the paint path due to light or heat are difficult to handle in the coating process. When supplying a two-component catalyst with a high mixing ratio, dispensing small volumes with accurate and precise control is crucial. Ransburg’s newly developed syringe pump is the perfect solution to these difficult challenges that traditional supply systems couldn’t.

RIC-800 HV Controller

Controller equipped with a high-speed, high-performance 32-bit CPU

This equipment is the High Voltage Controller for a pack-in (solvent) and semi pack-in (water system) Cascade type electrostatic coating machine, including a high-speed, high-function 32 bit CPU.

It consists of a flexible Low Voltage Cable, which connects between Cascades and Controller. For the signal exchange with the outside (PLC, Robot, etc), I/O connection, CC-Link Connection, or DeviceNet Connection is made possible by selecting option unit.

High Voltage output can be set in 4 levels, and each applied voltage can be used within -5~100kV (rated at 100kV). The safety circuit has the functions of detecting excess current error of absolute sensitivity (CL) and slope sensitivity (SL), breakage of low voltage cable (WT), excess current error (OC), undercurrent (UC), overvoltage (OV), and constant voltage error (CVE) of Cascade, and detecting leak current error (LK1~3) and over heat error (OH).

When error is detected, high voltage is instantly blocked and at the same time, an alarm (contact output) is generated to the outside until reset is pressed. These safety circuits enable highly safe painting operation by managing appropriate sensitivity settings in accordance with a coating line.

RPI300 HV Controller

Two units (2ch) of boost voltage type coating equipment can be controlled by this one device, high voltage output can be obtained with four stages and range of -5 to 90kV for each of the stages are available.
